My band is in the midst of recruiting not only for our dinner/concert event but for the board for next year as many of our key players will be moving from the middle school to the high school. We mention "shadowing" that is, working with the current to learn the job, in our job descriptions, so that a new volunteer doesn't feel overwhelmed by responsibility. What timing!
