Trying to get parents to buy something is not always easy, especially in the current state of the economy. A great tool our school uses is the toolbar we signed up for on www.Give2Network.com. We're able to send e-mail to parents that they can help our school by downloading and registering the toolbar for our school so that all online searching and shopping gives us donations each time.

Cookie dough and bake sales are fun if the kids get a chance to get some real interactive selling experience, but I find free online fundraising methods are also a helpful addition to the funding pool.
