My Hometown Helper - 2nd Annual Program

During the first year of the My Hometown Helper program 33 groups were awarded grants totalling $132,497. Some of the community projects that were funded included safety gear for a volunteer fire department, winter tires for a bookmobile program, and lights for a school football field.
Now My Hometown Helper is gearing up to help more communities. They are giving away up to $100,000 to make projects become a reality.
- Applications will be accepted August 1 September 30, 2007
- Winners will be selected on or before November 15, 2007
- Eligible organizations include public schools, 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) entity such as a civic league or a social welfare organization.
