There's a website that a friend of mine recommended called http://www.mainstreetfair.com. It's a classified ads and online auctions site that gives a portion of it's revenue to schools. I went there and thought it was great. I bought a laptop computer for cheap and listed a few things that I wanted to get rid of. I got to pick what school I want them to donate to. Now my school will make money without it costing me anything but the few bucks it cost to list my stuff for sale. It's about time someone came up with a safe and fun way for parents to raise money for their school without turning their kids into sales people. I highly recommend you check it out. It's such an easy way to help your school and you can make money too. I don't know about you, but I'm done with begging friends to buy things.
